VII Open Climbing Days – a report

As every year, from the initiative of ECHO Mountain Foundation fans of mountains and mountaineering came to celebrate VII Open Climbing Days.  Co-organizer of the event were Małe Dolomity complex and Mountain Portal.  There weren’t as many people as on other popular festivals but you cannot treat that as a fault. The event has its own special character and unique atmosphere.

A brand Bergans of Norway is now also represent in Poland. ISPO MONACHIUM 2017 – Mountain Portal report

Is it easy to imagine 180 000 square meters filled with 2732 stalls? And on each one of them hundreds of products in every possible colour? Everything segregated into categories on 16 integrated and large halls. This is ISPO Munich, the biggest outdoor trade fair in the world which was held from 5th to 8th February this year. A huge number of exhibitors and guests from all around the world came to Messe Munich complex and among people who visited the fair you could spot sport personalities like Bode Miller, Martin Fourcade, Robby Naish, or Hermann Maier.

We are after a great premiere. The weekend of 08/09.10.2016 in Polish Jura was the centre of a new and – for sure – from now on annual event devoted to the mountain people. “Piękno gór – the beauty of the mountains” is all about the highest mountains and it’s first edition was fully concentrated on an unreached in winter eight-thousander – K2. The event took place thanks to the Mountain Foundation ECHO, Mountain Portal and the complex “Małe Dolomity” in Hucisko.
